At a glance
These Terms govern the public website. A signed proposal, engagement letter or other project agreement may contain additional or different terms and will control for that engagement.
Website materials are general and do not replace a project-specific legal, tax, technical or regulatory review.
Using the website, emailing us or receiving preliminary information does not by itself create a professional-client relationship.
IndoGateway content and design may be used for personal business evaluation, not copied or republished commercially without permission.
Government, bank, laboratory, certification and professional decisions remain outside IndoGateway’s control.
By accessing or using indogateway.id, you agree to these Terms of Use and the related Privacy Policy and Responsibility page. If you do not agree, do not use the website. If you use the website on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
IndoGateway operates this website as an information and business-enquiry platform for Indonesia market entry and regulatory operations. The legal entity responsible for a paid service will be identified in the applicable proposal, engagement letter or invoice. Website questions may be sent to info@indogateway.id.
You may use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others, interfere with the website, misrepresent identity or authority, or violate applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that your access and use are lawful in your jurisdiction and that anyone submitting company or personal information is authorised to do so.
Articles, service pages, pricing, checklists, FAQs, examples and other materials are general information. They may not reflect every law, implementation rule, authority interpretation or fact relevant to a particular project. Indonesia’s regulatory systems and practices can change, and content may become outdated after publication.
IndoGateway may correct, update, reorganise or withdraw content without notice. You should verify the current position before relying on information for an investment, ownership, site, shipment, product, hiring or operational decision.
The Indonesia Licence Checker and other interactive tools provide preliminary planning outputs based on the answers supplied and the rule set available at the time. Outputs such as “Core”, “Conditional” or “Specialist Review” are not formal legal determinations, approvals, eligibility decisions or guarantees.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your answers and for obtaining a project-specific review before acting on the result. The tool may omit a requirement, flag a workstream that later proves unnecessary, or require revision when documents and facts are reviewed.
Browsing the website, using a tool, downloading material, sending an email, attending an introductory call or receiving preliminary comments does not create a professional-client, fiduciary, agency, partnership or exclusive relationship. IndoGateway has no obligation to accept a project.
A paid engagement begins only when the relevant parties accept a written scope, fees, assumptions, responsibilities and any required engagement terms. If these Terms conflict with a signed project agreement, the signed agreement controls for that project.
Website prices are indicative unless expressly described as fixed. Prices may exclude government charges, taxes, levies, testing, translation, apostille, notarisation, travel, courier, engineering and other third-party costs. Final fees and timing depend on the confirmed activity, KBLI, ownership, documents, city, people, products, sites, number of applications and project complexity.
A quotation is valid only for the period stated and may be revised if assumptions, facts, authority requirements or third-party costs change.
You confirm that information and documents submitted to IndoGateway are accurate to the best of your knowledge, lawfully obtained and provided with the necessary authority. You must not send malicious code, unlawful material, trade secrets belonging to another person without permission, or unnecessary sensitive personal data.
You grant IndoGateway permission to use submitted information for responding to the enquiry, assessing and performing the requested service, coordinating relevant professional or authority workstreams, maintaining records, complying with law and protecting legal rights. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
We use reasonable care with business information received during preliminary discussions, but an email enquiry does not automatically create the confidentiality obligations of a signed engagement or non-disclosure agreement. Do not send highly sensitive information until an appropriate channel and confidentiality arrangement have been agreed.
The website design, branding, text, original graphics, software, data structures, Licence Checker presentation and other IndoGateway materials are owned by or licensed to IndoGateway and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view, print or save reasonable extracts for internal evaluation of your own project.
You may not reproduce, scrape, republish, sell, license, translate for commercial publication, create a competing database from, remove notices from, or systematically exploit website content without prior written permission. Government names, regulatory terms and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access; probe or disrupt security; introduce malware; overload or automate requests in a way that harms the service; impersonate another person; submit false enquiries; harvest personal data; use content to mislead clients or authorities; reverse engineer restricted functionality; or use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
The website may link to government systems, banks, professional bodies, hosting providers or other third parties. External services are governed by their own terms, privacy practices and availability. A link or introduction does not guarantee quality, approval, accuracy or suitability and does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
Specialist professionals engaged for regulated work may issue separate engagement terms and remain responsible for their own professional services.
We aim to keep the website available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, preservation of locally stored data or freedom from harmful third-party activity. We may suspend, restrict or modify the website for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and preliminary tools are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. IndoGateway disclaims warranties that the content is complete, current, error-free, fit for a particular purpose, or sufficient to obtain an approval or achieve a commercial result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IndoGateway will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss arising from website use, inability to use the website, reliance on general content, loss of browser-stored data, third-party services, authority decisions or actions taken without a written project-specific review. This includes loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, data, goodwill or anticipated savings.
Where liability relating solely to the public website cannot be excluded, IndoGateway’s aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of the amount, if any, paid specifically for access to the website during the twelve months before the claim and the minimum amount required by applicable law. Liability under a paid engagement is governed by the signed engagement terms.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for loss, claims or costs arising from your unlawful use of the website, infringement of third-party rights, unauthorised submission of information or material breach of these Terms. This does not apply to the extent the loss was caused by IndoGateway’s own unlawful conduct.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in website functionality, business practice or law. The revised Terms apply from the date posted. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, subject to any mandatory legal requirements.
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these Terms and website-only disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute through good-faith written discussion. Any dispute connected with a paid engagement is governed by the law, forum and dispute-resolution provisions in the signed engagement.
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect and the affected provision will be applied to the maximum lawful extent. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Responsibility page, form the agreement governing use of the public website, without replacing any signed engagement.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@indogateway.id.
